Pochoir Workshop

1 day workshop with Mel Jones

Pochoir is a vibrant art technique that involves hand made stencil work. Traditionally Pochoir was a hand cut, then hand painted, multi-layered stencil process perfected by the French in the 1920’s. Stencils can be created in single form or in multiple layers to create one single image. This workshop encourages participants to experiment with multi layering as well as single stencilling.
