The evening included a wonderful introduction by Simon, who spoke about he and his wife Julie's collecting philosophy, how they select works for their collection and what particular works in their collection mean to them.

The wet and wild weather provided a dramatic backdrop to the evening, with the extensive gardens and harbour views becoming the stage for artist Justin Shoulder's new performance.

In the pouring rain and lit by spotlights, Justin emerged from the gardens to an classical soundscape, with all in attendance captured by the unfolding lyrical performance.
