UTOPIA ART SYDNEY

Utopia Art Sydney is committed to the representation of a small group of Australian artists. These include leading members of Papunya Tula Artists, Gloria Petyarre from Utopia and non-indigenous artists from Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. 

Since 1988, the gallery has exhibited Aboriginal and non Aboriginal artists in a contemporary context. This has led to the emergence of Aboriginal artists like Emily Kame Kngwarreye into the mainstream of Australian art.
