AfterLandscapes: Designing in Uncertainty

Part of the 'After 3.11: Have you met the new Japan?' program

Landscape architecture researcher Marieluise Jonas has been working with tsunami-affected communities in Japan as they attempt to rebuild their towns and livelihoods. This talk looks at strategies for building resilient futures, and the complex socio-political and environmental issues of rebuilding in the aftermath of full-scale eradication of life, landscape and infrastructure.
