Phaptawan Suwannakudt: Retold-Untold Stories

Born in Thailand, Phaptawan Suwannakudt considers the resonances of her own experiences against individual histories of women across generations in Northern Thailand. Completed as part of an Asialink residency in Chiang Mai, this body of work explores the relationship between gendered experience and place and the possibilities for empathetic communication between cultures and individuals.
